Each day, 10,000 humans are born in the United States. Each day, 70,000 puppies and kittens are born. As long as these rates continue, there will never be enough homes for all the animals.

Spay/Neuter Assistance

S.N.I.P: The Spay Neuter Incentive Program

To further its stated purpose of reducing the cruelty of pet overpopulation by encouraging pet owners to have pets sterilized, the Humane Society of Sedona and the City of Sedona have each established a spay/neuter subsidy fund to assist qualifying pet owners with surgery costs. Criteria for approval of assistance are flexible and based on a variety of factors.

Spay/neuter assistance applications are available at the shelter. Completion of the application does not guarantee assistance. If approved, you will be given a receipt to present to your veterinarian. The amount of assistance is based upon your pet's species and sex ($30 - $60). A separate form must be submitted for each pet.
