PAW PRINTS, HUMANE SOCIETY OF SEDONA, INC. 2115 SHELBY DRIVE ~ SEDONA, ARIZONA 86336 Phone (928) 282-4679 ~ Info@HumaneSocietyOfSedona.com www.HumaneSocietyOfSedona.com |
The following rules have been established for walking dogs at the Humane Society of Sedona. These rules are necessary to maintain the health of the dogs and the goodwill of the community.
We realize that you can become emotionally attached to a particular animal, however we request that you do not ask the disposition of the animal if it is no longer at the shelter. If we cannot place animals because they are very sick, old, injured, or because not enough good, permanent homes are available, they are humanely euthanized by an intravenous injection of sodium pentobarbital. Our trained personnel always handle these animals with an extra measure of compassion. The simple fact that euthanasia remains necessary is the driving force behind the Society's hard-lined policies regarding sterilization and responsible pet ownership.
Thank you very much for giving your time to our dogs. They love the human contact as well as the fresh air and exercise.
I have read and understand the above.
